Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Ms. Ridley notified the House that she had been served with a subpoena, issued by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, for grand jury testimony in a criminal case, and that after consultation with the Office of General Counsel, she had determined that compliance with the subpoena is consistent with the precedents and privileges of the House.|
