Alexander to present medals to Central Louisiana residents
WASHINGTON, D.C.- U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander, R-Quitman, today announced that he will hold a medals ceremony for the family of Leo Mancil at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, at his Alexandria District Office located at 1412 Centre Court, Suite 402.
Mancil's family will receive the following medals: Bronze Star, Good Conduct, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal and Bronze Star Attachment, World War II Victory Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge 1st Award, Philippine Liberation Ribbon and Bronze Star Attachment and the Honorable Service Lapel Button World War II.
At 2:30 p.m., Alexander will present medals to Robert Floyd.
Floyd will receive the following medals: Bronze Star, Army Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon w/Device.
All members of the media are invited to attend.
