Alexander Applauds Supreme Court Decision to Affirm Ban on Partial Birth Abortion
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander issued the following statement after the United States Supreme Court decision to affirm the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act, which Congress passed and President Bush signed into law in 2003.
“It’s heartbreaking to know that this cruel and inhuman procedure has been legally carried out in our country in the past, and I am proud that today the Supreme Court took a stand and decided to put a stop to this barbaric practice."
