Alexander Announces Federal Funding for Winn Parish Police Jury
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander, R-Quitman, today announced that the Winn Parish Police Jury will receive a United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development grant totaling $45,505.
The grant will be used to repair and widen 4,230 linear feet of Tannehill Road and construct 780 linear feet of a new access road that will connect a manufacturing facility to Tannehill Road.
“This project will benefit a major business in Winn Parish while also creating infrastructure that will attract new business,” Alexander said.###
