Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander and U.S. Sen. David Vitter announced today that the Town of Grambling will receive a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Grant totaling $774,575 to expand the sewer system.
The project will include expanding service areas to north of Interstate 20, which will include Dunn Road, Sandbed Road, Garr Road, and adding 91 new users that are currently on individual sewer systems
“This is an important project for the city of Grambling,” Alexander said. “Improving the sewer system will improve the health and well-being of the community.”
“This funding will help ensure Grambling residents have a safe and up-to-date wastewater system, and I am thankful USDA is making this funding available to the community,” said Vitter.
