WASHINGTON, D.C.– U.S. Rep. Rodney Alexander, R-Quitman, today announced that the Town of St. Joseph will receive a United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development grant totaling $300,357 to construct a new city hall and convention center.
The building will house city hall employees and offer meeting space for town meetings and other functions.
“A new, updated facility such as this one can to do so much to bring the community together,” Alexander said.
This project is part of the Economic Impact Initiative located in a special emphasis parish in the lower Mississippi Delta Development Initiative.
