Tsunami Benefit

Congressman Al Green participated in the Tsunami Relief Benefit Dinner hosted by the Thai Buddhist Temple and Houston’s Thai Community. On December 26, 2004 in the Southern part of Thailand, 400 children became orphans as a result of the devastation wrought by the tsunami. Proceeds from the dinner were contributed to the Thai Red Cross to help rebuild the lives and support the education of the orphaned children.
