Comment Policy
All postings received by Bennie's Blog are considered intended for publication. Those individuals wishing to contact Congressman Bennie G. Thompson's offices directly should do so by one of the methods listed here. Comments must be under 250 words (approximately three paragraphs). Comments submitted above 250 words may be edited for length or outright deleted. Generally speaking, comments submitted for posting on Bennie's Blog will appear exactly as submitted, though Bennie's Blog reserves the right to edit posted comments for content, clarity, and length. All points of view are welcome on Bennie's Blog, provided they are respectful and professional. Abusive, inappropriate, or vulgar language, and personal attacks are prohibited and will result in the deletion of the comment and the banning of the poster. Further, all comments must be policy related and pertinent to the subject of the original post or subsequent comments. URL's within the body of the comment must be in html format and appropriate to the subject matter or they will be deleted. All comments must abide by Congressional rules and ethics.
