Berry, Lincoln and Pryor Announces Grants for Local Fire Departments
 
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, along with U.S. Congressman Marion Berry, announced today that the Mountain Home Fire/Rescue Department has been awarded $2,619 in grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

 

This program provides support to fire departments by providing the tools and resources necessary to ensure both the safety of department personnel and the general public. 

 

These grants are used for training, wellness and fitness, firefighting equipment, personal protective equipment, and modifications to fire stations and facilities.

These awards are part of the 32nd round of grant announcements.
