Berry, Lincoln and Pryor Announce Grants for
Heber Springs Fire Department
 
WASHINGTON – U.S. Congressman Marion Berry, along with Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, announced today the Heber Springs Fire Department has been awarded $74,394 in grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

 

This program provides support to fire departments by providing the tools and resources necessary to ensure both the safety of department personnel and the general public. 

 

These grants are used for training, wellness and fitness, firefighting equipment, personal protective equipment, and modifications to fire stations and facilities. 

 

·                    Heber Springs Fire Department; Heber Springs, AR - $74,394 for operations and firefighter safety

 

These awards are part of the 35th round of grant announcements.
