Rep Berry, along with Senators Lincoln and Pryor, Announce
$1.5 Million for Batesville Head Start
 
WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Marion Berry (D-AR, 1st) along with Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor announced today more than $1.5 million in grants for Batesville Head Start programs.

 

The funds, secured from the Department of Health and Human Services, will cover cost-of-living increases for Head Start teachers and general quality improvement funds including monies to train new Head Start teachers. The full grant amount is $1,531,351 and is a continuation of funding already appropriated to the program.;
