Rep. Berry and Senators Lincoln and Pryor Announce $80,000 to ASU |

WASHINGTON – U.S. Congressman Marion Berry (D-AR, 1st) joined Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, to announce an $80,000 grant to Arkansas State University’s Business and International Education Program (BIE).
ASU will use the funds to enhance the global and multicultural competence of the residents of the Arkansas Delta Region by improving international business instruction and educating and assisting local businesses in exporting products.
The College of Business of Arkansas State University has entered into partnership agreements with the Arkansas Chamber of Commerce, the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce, the Delta Center for Economic Development and the Magellan Exchange to enhance efforts to develop and expand international business in the Arkansas Delta Region.
