Reps. Berry Along with Senators Lincoln and Pryor Announce Workforce Investment Funds for Lee, Cross, St. Francis |

WASHINGTON – U.S. Congressmen Marion Berry (D-AR, 1st) along with U.S. Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor announced $760,457 in grants today to help dislocated workers from PolyOne Corporation and RBX Industries.
These funds, from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Investment ACT (WIA) Title I National Emergency Grant, will provide for an array of services to dislocated workers including: individual counseling, career planning, retraining, occupational skills training and adult education.
Additional supportive services may include child care, transportation assistance, job-related certifications, uniforms and equipment.
