Representative Berry with Senators Lincoln and Pryor Announce Upgrade To Lyon College Science Departments

This funding, totaling $298,050, will allow the purchase of new equipment that will enhance science courses at the College. This equipment is comprised of personal computers, printers, pre-packaged physics laboratory exercises and other laboratory instruments. The grant is awarded through the Department of Education and gives Lyon College students the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art facilities.

“Lyon College has a great history as a fine institution of learning,” said Berry. “These new funds will go to giving great teachers and exemplary students the tools they need for continued scientific success.”
