Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Marion Berry (D-AR, 1st), along with Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, today announced the Cabot School District will receive $491,361 in Smaller Learning Communities grants from the Department of Education.
The Smaller Learning Communities Program supports academic achievement through awarding competitive grants for the planning and implementation or expansion of small, safe and successful learning environments in large public high schools.
“I am pleased the US Department of Education has recognized the Cabot School District with this much needed grant,” said Rep. Berry. “I am confident this funding will help provide the means necessary to improve the quality of education for the students of Cabot High School.”
