Rep. Berry, Arkansas Delegation Announces
Firefighter Grants for Walnut Ridge
 
WASHINGTON – U.S. Congressman Marion Berry (D-AR, 1st) along with Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor today announced the Walnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Department will receive $180,000 in grants from the Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Fire Prevention and Safety Grant (FP&S) program.

 

The Fire Operations and Firefighter Safety Program includes training, wellness and fitness, firefighting equipment, personal protective equipment, and modifications to fire stations and facilities.
