 Financial Services Committee to Hold Hearing on Global Poverty and Inequality

Washington, DC – Rep. Barney Frank, Chairman of the House Committee on Financial Services, today announced that the committee will hold a hearing entitled, “The Fight against Global Poverty and Inequality: the World Bank’s Approach to Core Labor Standards and Employment Creation,” at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2007.
