 Housing Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on the Mark-to-Market Extension Act

Washington, DC –  Rep. Maxine Waters, Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Housing and Community Opportunity will hold a hearing entitled “H.R. 647, The Mark-to-Market Extension Act of 2007.”  The hearing will examine issues related to the extension of the "Mark-to-Market," program, which preserves affordable housing by allowing for the restructuring of certain multifamily properties upon contract expiration.
