The Converter Box Coupon Program is still available to families who have lost their television programming since the Digital TV Transition in June.  But, consumers should apply for their coupons before the July 31, 2009 deadline.

Until that date, all households will be eligible to receive two $40 coupons to be used toward the purchase of two converter boxes, which typically cost between $40 and $70 each.  Households can receive coupons electronically or via the mail and will come with al list of retailers that are selling converter boxes in your community, as well as through the telephone and Internet.
