Frank Statement on Presidential Working Group Recommendations

Washington, DC - House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank released the following statement regarding the President's Working Group on Financial Markets recommendations released today:

“I thank both of the advisory committees for their work with the President 's Working Group on Financial Markets. Within the confines of the existing legal framework, they have made a valuable contribution, and I would hope that both hedge funds and investors will follow their recommendations. Implementation of these recommendations will make it easier as we go forward in examining and strengthening the regulatory framework of our financial markets.”
