Congressman Adam Putnam will speak at two events in the 12^th Congressional District Thursday, August 20. 

Thursday morning, Putnam will be the keynote speaker at the Polk Works Annual Meeting and Best Places to Work award ceremony. The event starts at 7:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingworth Drive, Lakeland.

Later he will speak at the Congressional Update Luncheon hosted by the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce. Registration begins at 11:45 a.m. at the Embassy Suites - Tampa/Brandon, 10220 Palm River Road, Tampa.

Since 2001, Putnam has represented Florida’s 12^th Congressional District, which includes most of Polk County and portions of Hillsborough and Osceola counties.
