Buchanan Invites Sarasota Business Owner To Share Story

Washington, DC -- Congressman Vern Buchanan has invited a Sarasota business owner to share his success story tomorrow with the House Small Business Committee.  Investments in Sarasota owner and broker Lee Mirman will testify during the Committee’s hearing entitled “Heroes of Small Business.” 

“Small businesses play an important role in creating jobs and growing the economy,” said Buchanan.  “As the owner of a successful real estate company, Lee can shed light on what is required to be successful in today’s economy.”

Mirman is a licensed real estate broker with 30 years of market knowledge.  He has owned and operated businesses in the U.S. and abroad

This week is National Small Business Week, a five-day event intended to spotlight the accomplishments of America's entrepreneurs and draw policymakers' attention to the challenges confronting them.

The hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. in room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building.  Buchanan is a member of the Committee and vice chairman of the Subcommittee on Finance and Taxes.
