Buchanan Wins Small Business Award |

| Washington, DC -- Rep. Vern Buchanan, R-Sarasota, was named the ninth annual dividends award winner, which goes to a Floridian whose service to the state supports legislation key to small businesses. The Small Business Development Center Network said Buchanan’s support of the economic growth bill expensing limits increased for small businesses, allowing them to take additional depreciation deductions. “It is clear through Congressman Buchanan’s past and present actions that he is keenly aware of the importance of small business success to creating jobs and getting the economy back on track,” said Jerry Cartwright, director of the Florida Small Business Development Center Network. — Herald Staff Report |
