APPROPRIATIONS REQUEST

2Is had previously worked with the Defense Logistics Agency to provide critically needed repair parts but on a per-part basis. This funding would allow for 2Is to compete for contracts on a broader, program-wide basis. It would improve weapon system supply readiness, make parts acquisition more efficient and reduce total ownership costs for Department of Defense. It would do so by tapping into 2Is’ network of small to medium sized specialty manufacturing companies located across Massachusetts and Greater New England to provide compliant, mission-critical repair parts delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
