APPROPRIATIONS REQUEST



Korean Vietnam War Memorial Park, Town of Avon 65 East Main Street Avon, MA 02322

The town of Avon has requested funds use Town land to create a veterans’ memorial park. This would necessitate landscaping and possible ducting of part of a brook, as well as relocation of some war memorials in town and purchase of some new ones, chiefly for Korea and Vietnam as none such exists to these veterans now. This project will provide a means through which to pay proper tribute to the contributions of local Veterans.
