APPROPRIATIONS REQUEST

The Museum of Science has requested funding for their Outreach and Accessibility Programs which targets students and teachers from economically distressed communities for: 1) scholarships for teachers from urban and economically challenged districts for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) development courses; 2) scholarship funding to ensure broad student access to Museum of Science field trips, traveling programs, courses, and camp-ins; and 3) development of a new lab-based, Science Fair Saturdays program for urban low-income students.
