Northeastern University has requested Federal funding for the Energy Harvesting for Aerospace and Satellites project. This initiative works to continue the improvement of nanotechnology enhanced solar and thermal energy harvesting for use in aerospace and missile systems through the use of infrared antennas. These antennas would help the US aerospace and satellite programs maintain their superiority by improving their energy efficiency.
