The town of Norwood has requested funds to for reconstruction and safety upgrade of Washington Street and Prospect Street intersection. The intersecting roadways are improperly aligned without proper traffic channelization creating an unsafe environment for vehicles. The roadways extensive width is un-inviting to pedestrians which is concerning because it is located at an active bus stop. This roadway safety and reconstruction project will provide a controlled and safe intersecting way for automobile and pedestrian traffic.
