APPROPRIATIONS REQUEST

Funding will be used to develop a capability by which national labs can communicate and process data around a digital product representation of a nuclear weapon, which will allow such labs to then construct a component or cleanup apparatus to fit the need of that model. This will result in improved design data management which will lead to lower costs, better quality products and a safer weapons stockpile. The need for travel will also be reduced while increasing communication through collaboration. It will increase accurate access to knowledge retained by subject matter experts from various fields and provide faster response to design and manufacturing issues, reducing project impact.
