The Museum of Science has requested funding for their National Center for Technological Literacy (NCTL) which promotes the adoption of best practices in engineering education across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts through the Museum’s established leadership and teacher training programs. Their goals are to insure that all school districts in Massachusetts are informed and prepared to address state standards in Technology and Engineering, all teachers are prepared to deliver relevant and effective content in Technology and Engineering, all students are able to successfully perform on Technology and Engineering related MCAS assessment items, and all students are exposed to career opportunities in technology and engineering education.
