The Town of Walpole has requested Federal funding for the repair of decayed steel on two water storage tanks; removal of lead-based paint from the interior and exterior of two water storage tanks; and re-coating of two water storage tanks.
These two water tanks are critical to the public health and safety of the residents of Walpole. They hold approximately 20% of the town's total fire suppression supply. This is a valuable use of taxpayer funds in that these two water tanks are critical to the public health and safety of the residents of Walpole.
