The City of Brockton has requested funds to complete the restoration of the War Memorial Building. A proposed Veterans Memorial Museum could be constructed in order to promote the virtues of Patriotism, Public Service, and the Responsibilities of Citizenship. In order to insure greater public and community access and utilization, the War Memorial Building will fulfill a secondary mandate to community enrichment, providing a home to a downtown Performing Arts Center and the Brockton Symphony Orchestra.
