Maryland Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention Receives Grant

Washington, DC -- The Maryland Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention has been awarded a $226,777.00 grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance under the Federal Department of Justice.

The title of the grant project is the “Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance (JAG) Grant Program for State Solicitation.” The JAG program enables states, local governments and tribes to fiscally support crime prevention and control activities in response to specific needs and conditions in their localities.
