GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Congressman Vernon J. Ehlers will host a public town hall meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids. Constituents living or doing business in the Third Congressional District are encouraged to attend to ask a question or voice their concerns. Members of the local media are encouraged to cover this event.
Barry and Ionia Counties and most of Kent County lie within the Third Congressional District. Congressman Ehlers will take questions and comments for around one hour in the museum’s auditorium.

Following the town hall meeting, Congressman Ehlers will present the Congressional Medal of Merit to several outstanding area students, and will announce the winner of the 2009 Congressional Art Competition.
