  • Attended Meeting with Ways and Means Democrats to discuss job creation with Mark Zandi, Chief Economist and founder of economy.com. 
  • Met with Representatives from the American Gas Association to discuss the NAT Gas Act. 
  • Attended Annual Lawrence Tech University Reception with Michigan Delegation.
  • Attended Reception with members of the Arab American and Chaldean Council from Michigan.

Debated and voted on H.R. 3585, the Solar Technology Roadmap Act, which calls for the Department of Energy to invest $2 billon research, development and deployment of solar energy technologies over the next five years. Began consideration of H.R. 3619, the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2010.
