Skelton Disappointed by Missouri River Spring Rise Plan

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Ike Skelton (D-MO) released the following statement in response to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ decision to implement a spring rise on the Missouri River.

“I am disappointed to learn that the Corps of Engineers intends to implement a spring rise on the Missouri River.  I continue to believe that the spring rise policy is bad for Missouri, with potentially devastating impact for farmers who work along the river,” said Skelton.
