| Skelton: Jefferson City Secures Funding From Recovery Act | |||

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Ike Skelton (D-MO) announced today that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will release $831,184 to the City of Jefferson City for the purchase of two buses, two vans, and surveillance equipment. The funding was made available by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and will be distributed through the Federal Transit Administration. “I was pleased to learn that Jefferson City will benefit from funds associated with the Recovery Act passed by Congress. The purchase of this equipment will help to ensure the city has the tools to serve and protect the community,” said Skelton.
