	CBC Chair Remembers the September 11 Terrorist Attacks and Sends Condolences to Families of Victims

(Washington, D.C.)- U.S. Representative Melvin L. Watt (D-NC), Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), released the following statement on behalf of the members of the CBC in remembrance of the September 11 terrorist attacks:

"In memory of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the Members of the Congressional Black Caucus extend our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and pledge our continuing efforts to provide support and recompense to those who survived the attack and continuing vigilance and commitment to prevent future acts of terrorism."
