WASHINGTON - U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr. (D-NJ-09) today released the following statement in observance of Korean American Day:
"As our country spent the weekend observing Korean American Day, we must recognize the significant contributions Korean Americans have made to the success of our nation. Like so many of our ancestors, Korean Americans have come to this country to make a better life for themselves and their families. I am proud to represent such a thriving community of Korean Americans in Northern New Jersey. Their vibrant culture and entrepreneurial spirit truly make our state a better place to live."
