PATERSON - In a continued effort to strengthen US-Korea relations, U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) welcomed the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in New York, Ambassador Son Se-joo, to his district office in Paterson. Rep. Pascrell met with Ambassador Son to discuss ways to build on the relationship between the two countries.
"It was an honor to welcome Ambassador Son to my district office in Paterson to discuss ways to strengthen relations between our two countries," said Rep. Pascrell. "I'm proud to now represent a thriving Korean American community in the U.S. House of Representatives. This vibrant community embodies the spirit of our great nation through their strong values and entrepreneurial spirit. Our meeting allowed us to discuss U.S.-Korean relations in detail, the needs of the growing Korean American community in northern New Jersey and how to build on our enduring alliance. I have been a strong advocate on issues important to the Korean American community and I look forward to fostering my relationship with Ambassador Son so together we can make New Jersey a better place for all residents."
