PATERSON - U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-8) released the following statement on the passing of former Senator Arlen Specter:
"The passing of Arlen Specter is not only a loss for the people of Pennsylvania, but for all Americans he proudly served during his 30 years in the U.S. Senate," said Rep. Pascrell. "Senator Specter was a man that put aside partisan politics in favor of building bridges with people on both sides of the aisle to do what he thought was best for our country. My thoughts and prayers are with Senator Specter’s family and friends during these difficult times.”
