WASHINGTON—U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-08) today praised President Barack Obama’s nomination of Seth Harris, a resident of the Township of Montclair, to serve as the Deputy Secretary of Labor in the U.S. Department of Labor:
“Seth Harris’s nomination demonstrates President Obama’s will to return labor department policy back to the working people it was designed to serve and away from the failures of the last eight years. With record unemployment pummeling the workforce, Mr. Harris’s experience and expertise signal a promising return to the job opportunities and services workers need to lift America out of recession.
