(Palmyra, N.Y.)- Congressman Jim Walsh today announced that his Palmyra District Office hours will be scaled back for the remainder of the year. Starting Monday, July 28th, the Palmyra office will be open for weekly office hours on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and by appointment.
Wayne and Monroe County constituents served by the Palmyra District Office are encouraged to continue to utilize the office’s telephone numbers and mailing address. All phone calls and mail will be forwarded to the main Syracuse District Office. Staffers based in Syracuse will now cover casework needs for the entire NY-25 district.
This change from full- to part-time status is required due to staff changes related to Walsh’s retirement from Congress at the end of the year.
“I am proud of the quality of constituent service we’ve provided to Wayne and Monroe County constituents over the years,” said Walsh. “But this change is necessitated by staffing realities. I am committed to making this transition as seamless as possible, and we’re eager to fulfill our responsibilities through the conclusion of the 110th Congress on January 2nd.”
Wayne and Monroe County constituents are encouraged to communicate with Congressman Walsh through any of the following ways:
By phone: 315-597-6138
1-877-230-7532 toll-free
By USPS mail: Office of Rep. James T. Walsh
