Today, Congressman Higgins released the June schedule for his Chautauqua County “Congress On Your Corner” program, which offers regular satellite hours in an effort to better serve local residents. Over the last 4 years Congressman Higgins has offered the Congress on Your Corner program over 500 times at locations in Chautauqua County alone and another 140 sites in the county are scheduled for 2009.
“We work hard to be accessible and responsive to the needs of residents in Chautauqua County and throughout the 27th District,” said Congressman Brian Higgins. “Sometimes t isn’t easy for our constituents to come to our office, so my staff travels to neighborhoods across the 27th district to take our services directly to the people,” said Congressman Higgins.
During Congress on Your Corner Constituents have the opportunity to talk directly with someone from Congressman Higgins’ office about issues related to Social Security, the Veteran’s Administration, citizenship and immigration, or any other federal matters they may need assistance with.

Residents are encouraged to visit a satellite site to share their concerns, questions and ideas with a representative from Congressman Higgins’ office. Residents can also continue to reach Congressman Higgins’ permanent office in Chautauqua County from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday at 2 East Second Street in Jamestown.
