WASHINGTON, DC -- In an effort to stem the tide of youth violence that continues to plague the City of Philadelphia, and honor the commitment and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as a drum major for non violence, Congressman Chaka Fattah will join members of the Father’s Day Rally Committee and Men United to officially kick off the organization’s “Peace Tour.” The rolling “Peace Tour” will visit local communities to encourage youth against engaging in violent behavior. Congressman Fattah will also present a check for $300,000 to the groups for their continued effort in violence prevention and conflict resolution.
