(Washington, D.C.) Nearly every day our nation is discovering new threats and attacks against our country’s networks, and the next President of United States must know what these threats are and how to respond to them. On October 30, 2007, at 10 a.m., officials from the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS); Congressmen Jim Langevin (D-RI), Chairman of the Homeland Security Subcommittee on Emerging Threats, Cyber Security and Science and Technology; and Michael McCaul (R-TX), Ranking Member on the Committee, will announce a major new initiative to make sure that when the next President of The United States takes office in January 2009, the U.S. has an updated strategy to counter the growing cyber threats.
