10.2% Unemployment:  Obama policies are failure says House economic leader

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX), the lead House Republican on the Joint Economic Committee, released the following statement after the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the economy shed another 190,000 jobs and hit a 26 year high of 10.2% in the month of October:

“These numbers are bad news for American workers and further proof that the Obama economic policies are a failure,” said Brady.

“Other countries, from Europe to Asia to our neighbor Canada, are recovering quicker and enjoying much lower unemployment rates. America continues to shed hundreds of thousands of new jobs each month and demonstrates you can't tax, spend and borrow your way to prosperity,” Brady continued.

“A job-loss economic recovery is no recovery at all.”
