Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Randy Neugebauer (TX-19) is pleased to announce a $4 million grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to the Abilene Regional Airport for two rehabilitation projects.
“I am pleased to see the Abilene Regional Airport recognized not only for its clear value to West Texas as a safe and reliable transportation center for many travelers, but also representing a wise investment of our tax dollars,” Neugebauer stated.
According to the FAA, the funding will be used to rehabilitate an Air Carrier Ramp, as well as a taxi lane.
“Investing in our airports while also spending tax dollars wisely is what Americans should expect of the FAA. I appreciate the FAA’s decision to make this valuable investment for the community of Abilene,” Neugebauer concluded.
