VCPI addresses the critical issues facing our law enforcement officers through the delivery of high quality and effective training.  VCPI has trained over 27,000 Virginia law enforcement officers in the past 10 years in dozens of topics including gangs, leadership, homeland security, domestic violence, language acquisition, and much more at the request of law enforcement.  Funding will be used to conduct training in direct response to specific requests from Virginia’s law enforcement.  Given the state budget situation, without federal funding VCPI will simply not be able to provide needed services to VA law enforcement.
