Washington -- U.S. Representative Barbara Cubin today released the following statement regarding the passing of Wyoming State Senator Bob Peck:

“My thoughts and prayers are with Bob Peck’s family as they endure this difficult time of loss.  He was a wonderful and genuine friend to me in the State Legislature, and that friendship never faltered.  With Bob’s passing, we have lost an honorable man who selflessly dedicated himself to promoting Wyoming’s economy and securing a better fate for our state’s future generations.  Bob will also be sorely missed in Wyoming’s newspaper industry.  He was widely respected for his professionalism and fairness in the news business, and his reputation for excellence extended across decades.  Though Bob was always humble, he will be fondly remembered as the outstanding man he undeniably was.”
